My answer to Seventh Sanctum's Twilight of the Vampires contest!
Darien Vossen is a normal guy in just about every way... except he drinks the blood he harvests from his patients!
Hardly a mythical creature, he surfs in the sun all day, only returning to the donor clinic when he absolutely must.
His dark little hobby started as a not-so-innocent dare by one of his friends... and quickly contorted itself into a dirty ritual that works like an addictive drug. He knows he shouldn't, but he feels he must... and slowly, barely detectibly, his ears and canine teeth begin to sharpen as the mutation begins...
Ha, well, sounds like the beginning of a horror movie, but yeah. I tried to make a Vampire that wasn't, really... I hope you like it!
